Creative Zen... My first MP3 player

Bought a new Creative MP3 Player last week. Cost me a bomb eventhough it was a promotional price during the IT Show 2005. Being the showy girl I am, the MP3 Player hang around whenever I go, showing it to my friends excitedly, earning envious looks and comments.

Exploring all possible functionalities in that little player, weighing only 200g over with lithium battery, caught me up in a frenzy of IT excitment... vertical scrolling pad, LED blue glow light around the player, organizer that synchronizes with outlook in your PC, portable hard disk, USB 2.0, great audio quality...

Everything sounds cool and perfect, the very detail of ergonomic designs perked me up every little bit.

However, hey, there's always a catch. I soon found out, from all the seamless and flawless design of yet another technology artwork; that things are not so perfect afterall..

After calculating the length they are capable to play, battery life couldn't really last that long, and they run out fast. Other than the mousepad being too sensitive, that maybe blamed due to poor finger feel, vertical scroll pad doesn't really worked that smart, and is just another 'cool' gimmick for IT suckers like me.

Language support and software installation required is yet another big minus point for me, as compared to those cheaper products with USB built-in.

I guess all-in-all, there always a catch and all the 'cool' factors would soon be overwritten by their 'uncool' factors that posted quite a bit of a hassle for me if you asked...
